A pet can be an important member of your family, and Coldwell Banker Best Sellers offers many places to live that accept pets. The decision to accept a pet (or not) is always ultimately up to the owner.

We have some properties that will not accept a pet under any circumstances. Some accept only small pets, some accept only cats, some accept only dogs. Some will accept larger animals.

Coldwell Banker Best Sellers has certain requirements that must be met if the owner approves your pet. We insist that all cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered- no exceptions . There is a special deposit* for pets- $300 for the each pet, up to a total of two. We also require tenants to have a special pet enzyme spray professionally applied to all carpet areas when they vacate.

Certain pets are never acceptable. Rottweillers, pit bulls- or anything that looks like a rot or a pit bull- are not allowed. Other breeds may be unaqcceptable as well. Always ask first.

Some of the rentals Coldwell Banker Best Sellers manages are not conducive to pets. Larger breeds are not going to like sitting all summer alone in a 20' by 10" gravelled back yard. As a rule, we won't allow a large breed in a town house simply because a larger breed will need room to live.

Unless you have your pet toilet-trained, you will need to pick up after them. This includes your own yard, and any time you take them out in the neighborhood.

Being a pet owner in a rental means recognizing your obligations to your landlord, your family, and your pet. Coldwell Banker Best Sellers will work hard to find a place for all of you that meets your needs, including that of the family pet.
